Do not pour boiling water on plastic water pipes or PVC pipes because hot water softens these pipes, which loosen the joint of pipe, and your pipe can burst.
Plunger
If you have a PVC pipe in your sink then you must use plunger to fix clogging of pipe. There are two types of plunger:
Cup plunger
Flange plunger
For removing clogging of sink, plumbers use cup plunger tool. The flange plunger is specially designed for resolving issues of toilet bowls. We cannot combine or mix both plungers because of Hygienic purposes. When you get right plunger, open the drain stopper, seal the sink overflow outlet with the help of duct tape. Overflow outlet of sink is located at the top of lavatory. After removing drain stopper of a sink pour water into it and then try to clear the clog with the help of plunger.
