This article will then show two easy ways on how to clean the clog in your kitchen. The first one is through baking soda and vinegar, the other one is by using a plunger.
Method 1: baking soda and vinegar
Remove the water from the sink by using a bowl, cup or a tub. You may put the water in a basin or in the pale. Remember to use a pair of gloves while doing the repair.
Put a cup of baking soda in the sink drain. You may use a spatula if ever necessary, to put the soda down to the sink.
Pour a cup of vinegar in the opening of the drain. Then you must put the stopper in the sink in order for the vinegar to be forced down toward the clog.
You should wait for five minutes. After five minutes, pour warm water into the sink and observe if the clog loosens. If there’s no effect, try to pour boiling water into the sink. If still not fixed, repeat steps 1-3.
Method 2: Plunger
Pour the sink with hot water.
Put the plunger over the sink’s drain. If in case you have a double sink, put a washcloth in the unclogged drain so that the plunger’s pressure will be focused in the clog.
Begin to start plunging the sink, up and down as quickly as possible. After, check if the clog starts to loosen. If not, continue plunging until the clog disappears.
